In 2022 Rachel began the delivery of Standing In This Place with the community group Legacy Makers. As part of the community delivery hundreds of Fill Gap Braiding Kits were made and delivered.

Inspire Hanging tutorial


Join sculptor Rachel Carter and learn how to use a Viking Lucet to create a beautiful square braid using a range of cotton cords.

In 2021 Rachel created a new sculpture for Boston, Pilgrim Woman. As part of the delivery Rachel engaged local residents with the braid workshop to create square braids on a lucet.
